As I sit at home with a bum leg I decided to start putting out a webisode series. So I sent my good friend Sam Cohen off with the new HD GoPro and told him to get some cool shots. I’m going to create a new episode at least every other week. My goal is to capture what it is like to be a local skier up Little Cottonwood Canyon and what our view of skiing is. Enjoy!

Once again I have been slackin on the posts… sorry.
I know most of you reading this right now are desperate competitors on the freeski tour trying to get a spot in the comps. This is what I know; out of the Greener trio I am pretty positive Nick and Rick Greener have both won on the tour before and rob hasn’t. I won the North Face Young Gun award at Crested Butte but not at Snowbird. I have no idea who won it at Snowbird. That is all I know so hopefully that helps!
Other than tour registration nothing amazing has happened here in Utah lately. There is a very small snowpack and only a couple runs are open. I have been skiing almost every day and been having a lot of fun even though there is little snow. I have been borrowing one of the new HD GoPro from Alta and unfortunately on my second run using it I almost broke my leg. Luckly the x rays didn’t show any signs of cracks or fractures so I’ll be good to go in a week or two. Check out the footage from what i did get…
Also I have basically been raised in the Albion Grill my whole life and have ate hundreds of dollars worth of their food for free so my mom is making me put the Grill down as one of my sponsors so go get a burger from the Abion Grill next time your in Alta!
So it’s been a while since the last time I posted and a lot has happened. It has started to snow more frequently around the Wasatch and the mountains are maintaining a fresh sheet of snow. I have found my self hiking for preseason turns with my friends numerous times and it just keeps getting better. The last time I went out it was thigh deep pow at the top of Collins chair in Alta!

Other than skiing I have been training with the Snowbird Freeride Team at Black Diamond Gymnastics. It is a super fun time and will hopefully do good things for this winter. Check out the edit that Nate Cahoon made…
I also did a little photo shoot with Mike Schirf, Taylor Lyman, and John Collinson. We got some pretty rad shots and check back for some more in the future.
Brighton set up some rails today for any one who wanted to get their early season grind on. It was alot of fun and it was freaking packed!
Got a new pair of skis today! They are Salomon’s newest addition to the ski line up, The ShoGun. Be sure to check back for a full review on them once the season starts!
Over the past week the Salt Lake valley received its first taste of snow for the season! So some friends and I packed up our generator and got to business. Check it out!
